Giving back

At Brandtology, we recognize the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility and are committed to achieving a real and sustainable positive impact on the broader community in which we live and work.

Non-discrimination

We are committed to treating our employees with fairness and respect. We believe in co-operation, teamwork, and trust. We hire on the basis of ability and merit, and reward and promote on the basis of performance.

We will not tolerate discrimination, bullying or any other kind of harassment within our business community.  The concept of ’mutual respect’ will be one of our guiding principles.  Employees are expected to abide by company rules and to be honest and considerate in their various roles.   Dishonest actions and accusations are taken seriously and may result in disciplinary action in accordance with company rules and disciplinary procedures.

Community Involvement

At Brandtology we believe that helping the local community is not just something we choose to do but is actually an important part of our business.

We understand that local businesses and communities are closely linked and that we can have a significant impact on communities as a whole.  Brandtology plays an active role in contributing to these communities both through direct financial support and through the support of our partners and staff who take part in activities organised both by the company and by themselves. In addition, we provide work placements for local students and support for educational establishments.

Furthermore, we support and volunteer with selected local charities and organizations, particularly those associated with education, children and the underprivileged.

Our Activities

1)   SITF Spinning Singapore 2010

In Jan 2010, Brandtology participated in the SITF spinning event at Downtown East, Singapore. Staff formed a team pledged to cycle a total of 50 hours and the company pledged a donation amount. Part of the proceeds were donated to the Society for the Physically Disabled.

2)    Donation to staff who were affected by Typhoon Ketsana

In Sep 2009, Typhoon Ketsana (known in the Phillippines as “Ondoy”) dropped 455 mm (17.9 in) of rain on Metro Manila in a span of 24 hours on Saturday – the most in 42 years. A month’s worth of rainfall in a single day washed away homes and flooded large areas, stranding thousands on rooftops in the city and elsewhere. Some of our staff were badly affected.

The company organized a fund-raising effort for the affected staff, whereby the company matched the amounts pledged by staff dollar for dollar.
